Number Of The Students According To The Departments: There are 199 and 198 female students in nursing and midwivery departments, respectively and 134 female and 33 male students in nutrition and dietetics department. Totally 531 female and 33 male students are being educated.

Departments of the School:

       The high school or lycee graduate students who are succesful at Student Selection Examination organized by High Education Council will graduate with the title of “nurse” in case of completing their four-year bachelor’s degree education. Nurses who completed bachelor’s degree education can work in all protecting, treating and rehabilitating foundations and they can also work self-employed. Graduates who want to make academic work can continue their studies in Nursing Schools and Vocational Health Colleges as research assistant or instructor and make postgraduate studies.

      The high school or lycee graduate students who are succesful at student selection examination organized by high education council will graduate with the title of  “midwife” in case of completing their four-year bachelor’s degree succesfully. Students who complete their bachelor’s degree education are expected to work at the birth and family planning clinics of the health care foundations. The students who prefer to make academic study can work in health vocational colleges as research assistant or instructor and they can continue the education in making postgraduate studies.

    The high school or lycee graduate students who are successful at Student Selection Examination organized by High Education Council will have the title of “dietitian” in case of completing their four-year bachelor’s degree education. With the educational background a dietitian can work in hospitals, child and old nursing residences, mother and child health centers, factories, institutional food services such as hotels and catering factories, sports health centers and private nutrition and diet centers in addition to all foundations where dietitian’s nutritional service is given. Graduates who want to make academic work can continue their studies in nutrition and dietetics departments of different colleges as research assistant or instructor and make postgraduate studies.

      Postgraduate studies are available for the departments of nursing (initialized at 2001-2002 educational year) and nutrition and dietetics (initialized at 2004-2005 educational year).

    There are technical skill implementation laboratories (departments of nursing and midwivery), food  preparing  and  cooking  laboratory, food  chemistry  and analysis laboratory, food microbiology laboratory (department of nutrition and dietetics), computer laboratory, family planning education office, lecture room and 12 classrooms for 3 departments of the college.
