NURSING
The high school or lycee
graduate students who are successful at Student Selection
Examination organized by High Education Council will graduate
with the title of “nurse” in case of completing their four-year
bachelor’s degree education.
According to International Council of Nursing-ICN a nurse is
the member of a profession group who helps to protect and
develop the health of the family and society and in the case of
disease helps to the treatment and rehabilitation.
Nurses who completed bachelor’s degree
education can work in all protecting, treating and
rehabilitating foundations and they can also work self-employed.
Graduates who want to make academic work can continue their
studies in Nursing Schools and Vocational Health Colleges as
research assistant or instructor and make postgraduate studies.
Nurses’ profession organization center is
“Association of Turkish Nurses” located in Ankara.
